Department of State debuts Estado al Día informative capsules

The video series details the services offered at the Department of State.

September 1, 2022 (San Juan) - Secretary of State Omar J. Marrero Díaz today announced the launch of Estado Al Día, a series of informative capsules, whose purpose is to inform the public about the services offered by the Department of State, aimed at promoting the development and progress of Puerto Rico. The episodes will be broadcast on the first day of each month on the Department's social networks, beginning today.

"The Department of State fosters cultural, political and economic relations between Puerto Rico and foreign countries, as well as with other U.S. jurisdictions. To publicize the services provided on a daily basis, we have created these informative capsules entitled Estado al Día. The initiative is a direct connection with the Department of State, so that citizens can learn, first hand, what services we offer and who are the public servants working for the Puerto Rican people," said Marrero Díaz.

The information capsules will detail the services offered by the Office of Foreign Citizen Services, the Office of Registration of Corporations, the One-Stop Service Centers, the Passport Office, the Office of Examining Boards, the Office of Registration and Licensing of Educational Institutions, also known as ORLIE, and the Office of Registration of Trademarks and Commercial Names.

The video series will also provide details on the Diplomatic and Foreign Affairs School, the Apostille Service and the Intellectual Property Registry. To view the videos you can access the Department of State's Twitter or Facebook account.
